There is a Tier Certified Cummins electronic turbocharged air after-cooled or air to air diesel engine placed in each model in the T-Series line of 36 inch L.C. lift trucks. Some of the standard engine features include a maintenance and electronic diagnostic monitor, a water/fuel separator, transmission/engine protection systems, reduced emissions and better fuel economy.
The transmission for all these models is a fully reversing, 3-speed, modulated powershift transmission with electric shift control. It also has a separate cooler for air-to-oil as well as declutch. In addition, the automatic powershift comes as a standard feature.

The forklift is a mobile machinery that uses 2 forks or prongs to lift and place loads into positions which will be usually difficult to reach. Typically, forklifts fall into 2 major categories: rough-terrain and industrial.
Most often, industrial forklifts are used around train loading docks and truck loading docks as well as in warehouse applications. These equipment have smaller tires that are designed to run on smooth surfaces. Normally, industrial forklifts are powered by an internal gasoline engine running on propane or diesel fuel.
Smaller forklifts may run off an internal battery charging an electric motor. And as the name implies, the rough terrain forklift is designed to be operated on unpaved and rough surfaces. Commonly, they are the ideal alternative for military and construction operation. Rough terrain forklifts normally have big pneumatic tires that are generally powered by internal industrial engines that run on propane, diesel or propane fuel. These forklift units can have a telescoping boom, capable of carrying cargo up and out from the equipment's base or they may use a vertical tower, that is responsible for carrying cargo straight up.
The rough terrain forklift emerged in nineteen forty six, after a 2 pronged lift attachment was attached to a tractor chassis or a power buggy. This first equipment was used around construction locations and was able to lift to a height of 76 cm or 30 inches and had a lifting capacity could lift 1000 pounds or four hundred fifty four kg. Vertical tower forklifts were rapidly developed for industrial application and rough terrain forklifts became famous as well. By the time the 1950s came around, there were available units which can lift up to heights of 9 meters or thirty feet and had lift capacities of 2500 lbs or one thousand one hundred thirty five kg.
